Oklahoma City, OK: Due to a dramatic rise in COVID-19 cases in Oklahoma City, the Harding Fine Arts Academy Foundation leadership has decided to make its annual fundraising event. Leadership in Arts & Education completely virtual.
“As much as we, our Honorees, and guests enjoy the warmth, spontaneity and congeniality of the in-person event, it cannot be held safely this year.” said Co-Chair and Foundation Board member, Carol McPheeters. “The virtual event has been created as a worthy substitute that we hope will be watched and appreciated by our audience!”
This year’s honorees are:
- Renate and Chuck Wiggin, John & Joy Reed Belt Award named in memory of the school’s founder, John Belt.
- BancFirst, Community Impact Award
The virtual program will air on Saturday, October 3, 2020 on KAUT, Channel 43 at 11am and on KSBI, Channel 52 at 4 pm.
