For the past 18 years, Harding Fine Arts Academy has been a shining example of Benjamin Franklin’s philosophy that “An investment in knowledge pays the best interest.” This resonates with me personally as I continuously strive to learn something new each and every day. At Harding Fine Arts Academy, we strongly believe that education’s impact on communities truly knows no bounds.
The Academy has achieved many great things this past year – we hired a new superintendent, developed a comprehensive 5-year strategic plan, increased enrollment by 8%, ranked in the Top 10 public high schools in Oklahoma for the 10th consecutive year, and invested over $1 million in our curriculum.
I cannot wait to share the great things planned for the year ahead as progress unfolds!
We are incredibly grateful for the unwavering commitment of so many of our alumni and friends. Please help us keep this important momentum by contributing to this year’s President’s Fund for Excellence. With your support, we will surpass our $35,000 goal in no time!
As we near the end of 2024, a year chock-full of “firsts”, including my new role as President of the Foundation, please join me in making a year-end donation to the Harding Fine Arts Academy Foundation’s President’s Fund for Excellence. Your tax-deductible donation is guaranteed to be put to good use, ensuring that our 520 students have a safe, welcoming, and enriching environment in which to learn.
The President’s Fund for Excellence allows us to provide special arts-related experiences for the students by funding masterclass visiting artists and providing additional enriching extracurricular experiences. Unrestricted general operations also help maintain the 157,000-square-foot Harding School Building as we await success of a robust capital campaign to completely modernize.
For the first time, a portion of the President’s Fund will go towards making sure every one of our students has access to breakfast and lunch at school, regardless of their financial situation at home. Harding Fine Arts Academy currently feeds every student every day, including those students whose families cannot afford to pay. School administrators incur a debt of $10,000/month cost related to making sure all students are adequately fed. Your donation not only assists in the fight against childhood food insecurity, it takes the stress of lunch debt off of a child’s plate. Harding Fine Arts Academy is a magical place that provides a unique arts-integrated approach to education that inspires, welcomes, and encourages all young people to thrive academically and socially. Please join me in contributing to the President’s Fund today!
